let’s think about ways to get our message out to people.

What I believe we need is a full-scale advertising campaign! Imagine Idol pausing for a station identification and seeing a guy in a suit walking into a school cafeteria, opening his jacket exposing a time bomb, and having him say, “Hello, I’m a registered sex offender. I’mhere to thank you for making it impossible for me to live in this world.” BOOM

Would only need to be a 30 second spot & it would really get the message across. I know we can get our point across in a peaceful way but I do think it will take something radical like this to do it.

That’s all from the old Yahoo group - not this forum. That was a whole big thing that Terry started that got everybody all riled up. He wasn’t saying that he ADVOCATED doing such a thing, he just felt very strongly that something like this will happen in the future. He thought we should present that imagery to the public. Some people got all excited about the prospect - hence the thread.

Their info is always old because they can’t get in the group anymore. They just continue to use snippets of crap they already have.

Gosh I’m glad I sounded vaguely sane when they quoted me!!

That “you have been duly warned” remark is the title of one of their posts about us. I think it was an old thread from the “time of trouble” when shirley was a problem, but I’m not sure. (I’m not as good at memorizing everything I read as I used to be, but that is the title of a post on osrf)

You’re not mentally challenged - I was just not clear.

I typed in s[/b].sosen.us].forums.sosen.us instead of .forum.sosen.us. It took me to a Google search page that showed the link I cited above. I think at some point somebody in SOSEN accidentally typed the plural form into one of the messages while we were on the Yahoo forum. That is one of the posts soroarful has, so it comes up in the search.

I was just posting this because if somebody is looking for our forum and they accidentally type “forums” instead of “forum”, that is what they are going to get - a link to soroarful.
