Kahnsgod is still smiting me. Last night I was at 20 this morning I’m at 13. This petty shit needs to stop. This is intentional harassment. Do I need to stoop to his level and smite him all day long? I don’t think so. But if you want me out I can delete my account.

I’m not having a good day. In fact this past month has been nothing but shit for me. If people don’t want me here, just say so and I’ll be gone.

Actually, I believe there is. I have “simple Machines” for the CFCoklahoma site and it appears that one can tell what a member is doing. I’ll have to go check.

How do we jump from the fact that KG is smiting you to we want you out? I can’t see any possible connection between the two. Am I missing something?

Thanks guys. I think I will take some time off and call the V.A. on Monday to get an appointment. Perhaps they will treat me. Its very bad depression, that much I know and the slightest thing can be a mountain.

I’m just so sick and tired of living this life. 21 years and it gets worse as each day goes by. I have no hope of seeing significant change in Oklahoma in my life time.

Well, you all know what this living hell is all about. That’s what were all here for.

Rod if you are fighting depression and it is getting worse the best thing you can do is go get som help and get put on meds for a while. Not too long ago remember I broke down in my DR office. The cymbalta has helped immensly

Well, there’s Prozac, Wellbutrin, Paxil, Cymbalta, and several other hard-to-pronounce meds out there to try…

But I “highly” recommend Ganja (scientific name- Wackius Tobaccius). It’s been proven to work every time… And if you can get ahold of pharmaceutical-grade “medicine” from California, there’s a chance you’ll never feel depressed again!..

While under the influence of this “herbal” remedy, you may want to try watching a movie called Half Baked, but really you’ll probably find any movie quite entertaining while taking this “medicine”.

(I’m not trying to make light of what you’re going through- just trying to give you a laugh, Lets)

Seriously though- I’ve stuggled with depression, too… You CAN beat it, just hang in there…

i cannot see who is smiting/applauding who, this doesn’t get recorded in the forum logs, and would take days pouring over the server logs to find it…

As i mentioned before, we shouldn’t be smiting anyone in the first place. Yes, I’m guilty of doing that too and will not do it again. We are a support and education network. Registered sex offenders get smited by the public everyday of their life and need a place where they are free from that. If someone does something you think they need to be smited for, them someone should contact them and diplomatically explain why their actions are inappropriate.

Oh my, this is quite a controversy. This is the first time we have had this kind of smiting problem
KG has pm’d Linda. I suggested to her that she give KG an EDUCATION of the use of karma. If he continues to use this as a weapon, we will simply take away the privilege. Many of our members really like the karma. It is as much of a building ( actually more, as it is used more often) than it is a tearing down. There is little that we can do to reward some one for doing well, but our members seem to get a kick out of getting karma points.
I would hate to see it gone. I think the use of the smite is very rare…and sometimes it is deserved. Life does smite us at times and we had darn well better be able to take it. Especially if it is deserved. It is the undeserved smiting that we are fighting against here. JMHO

I think he is pissed because he wants to “take me down,” and others won’t let him. In the beginning I smitted him once but gave it back to him after I thought of how foolish it was. Obviously he hasn’t given up. Perhaps an answer is in order for him and let him know, others are on to him. Perhaps then he will stop this childishness.

Linda is going to send KG a pm informing him of how we do the kudo’s thing, and that fighting with the smite button is NOT something we do. She will inform him that if the behavior continues, we can and will turn off his ability to give kudos. That goes for EVERYONE!!!! We do NOT play these silly games around here.

Can’t stay on for long but thought I’d join with the voices here. Lets and topwop - we really REALLY need you, so don’t go bouncing out on us. This is a time-consuming thing we are involved in, and I am looking forward to being able to devote the time to it that it deserves. Going into “second peak” means that for the nex couple of weeks I’ll be really busy, but I’ll try to get in here more often. I have been trying to earn a living, but this has to be a priority!
